WISCONSIN HOCKEY HALL OF FAME: THE HALL OF FAME ENSHRINEMENT BANQUET AND GOLF OUTING WILL BE HELD, SEPTEMBER 12,2009, AT EAGLE WATERS RESORT, IN
EAGLE RIVER. PLEASE USE THE ENCLOSED FORMS FOR THE ENSHRINEMENT BANQUET.

HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES: THE 2009 Class for induction to the Hall of Fame are Pat Weber from Eagle River, and Don Bradford from Wausau: These two have been involved with the growth of hockey in Wisconsin for many years. Please take the time to thank them for their continuing service since both are still very involved both locally and statewide.

HALL OF FAME GOLF OUTING: will be held on Saturday September 12th at Forest Lake in Eagle River. This is a great social event for everyone who plays. PLEASE USE THE GOLF OUTING FORM BELOW.

HOCKEY GAMES BETWEEN WAHA/USA & HIGH SCHOOL FEDERATION TEAMS: These games must be approved by WAHA and the only way to receive a sanction for these games is to contact the Wisconsin State Registrar, Tom Hansen at (608) 238-9578, or bye-mail atthansen@klengineering.com.

Without receiving the sanction from WAHA, NO PLAYERS & OFFICIALS WILL HAVE USA HOCKEY INSURANCE COVERAGE. USA HOCKEY SOFTWARE: this software is issued free by USA Hockey and if your association has not received yours by now, contact Tom Hansen or your regional registrar immediately.

USA ANNUAL GUIDE AND WAHA GUIDEBOOK & DIRECTORY: These books will be distributed to local association representatives attending the region meetings. All region meetings will take place after Labor Day and will be posted on the WAHA website.

USA HOCKEY PLAYER ROSTER: This roster must be filled out complete for every team in your association. There is no charge for this roster, as it replaces the Team Membership form. In house teams and mite, learn to skate and adult teams do not need signatures, unless the teams is going to a WAHA State Tournament, or is a National Tournament-bound team. THERE IS NO FEE FOR USA HOCKEY/WAHA FOR PLAYERS BORN 2003 AND LATER. When completed, all USA Hockey Rosters should be sent to YOUR region registrar.

WISCONSIN ELITE HOCKEY LEAGUE: The league enters its fourth season with teams in the Milwaukee, Madison, Fond du Lac/Appleton, Stevens Point and Eau Claire areas. The league grows larger this year with teams from Region One also participating. These teams had open tryouts for ALL HIGH SCHOOL AGE PLAYERS, WIAA or WAHA High School, within WAHA. More information can be found on the WAHA Web site by clicking on "WEHL" at the home page menu.

WAHA CO-OP TEAMS - ANY CLASSIFICATIONS BETWEEN ASSOCIATIONS: All co-op programs have to be renewed every year and it is necessary that all associations entering into a co-op must send a letter from each association president to the WAHA Office for the co-op to be approved. The WAHA Board meets on September 11th and will be acting on all co-op requests for the 2009-2010 season.

USA HOCKEY WAHA INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENTS: All tournaments must be sanctioned by USA WAHA. FORM IS ON WAHA WEB SITE UNDER "FORMS". SEND THE COMPLETED FORM(S) ALONG WITH A CHECK TO YOUR REGION REGISTER (information follows). The form will be approved and a copy returned to you with Hat Trick, Zero & Playmaker Awards and those tournaments will than be posted on WAHA web site. COACHING CLINICS AND OFFICIALS CLINICS: For information on Coaching Clinics and levels required, go to the WAHA Website and click on "Coaching Info". For information about Officials Seminars, click on "WI Officials Association". NOTE - you must register on line for Coaching Clinics, or Officiating Seminars. .

WAHA 2010 STATE TOURNAMENTS: The official WAHA State Tournament Entry Form will be on the WAHA Website under "Forms". all associations, TO FILL OUT ON LINE, about October 1st with a deadline of November Ist 2009. This form must be used to enter WAHA State Tournaments.

USA HOCKEY NATIONAL WAHA TIER I & TIER II PLAYOFFS: All teams wishing to enter these playoffs with the intent to move to a National Tournament, must pay the WAHA and USA Registration fee by October 1, 2009. Official forms will be MAILED TO teams on record. All other must request forms from WAHA State Registrar, Tom Hansen.
